All about us

Hi, my name is Natalie Davies, I am a registered childminder in Ramsbottom, Bury.
I live with my partner James, children Charlie and Gemma and our various family pets including our friendly dog Thor and horses in the field to the rear of our property.

We have lived here for a number of years now and believe our home, environment and surroundings are highly suited to child care.

As a parent myself I understand the need for high quality, reliable and safe care for your child.

I have various qualifications including the NNEB, ADCE (level four equivalent) and a combined honours degree in Advanced Study of Early Years and Business, which I achieved a 2:1.
I have twelve years experience working with children, mainly in private nurseries and out of school clubs and as a registered childminder for two years.

I pride myself on being professional, committed, honest and reliable which is essential when caring for children.
My aim is to provide peace of mind to parents that they can leave their child in a safe, fun and educational establishment that the children feel comfortable in.

Both James and I hold current CRB police check certificates, I also hold a current paediatric first aid certificate.

I believe our home to be welcoming to everyone.
The environment provided is safe, secure and clean while also being fun, caring and loving.

There is a dedicated playroom which can be adapted to meet the needs of the children in our care.
We also have a separate lounge for comfort and quiet activities.

Having the two rooms available for use, plus a kitchen and dining room means there is plenty of space for activities.
There is also a large garden and patio for various outdoor activities. (Parking space is also available.)

Being close to various amenities, such as parks, shops and nature walks is also another definite advantage.

We, and the care we provide, are regularly inspected by Ofsted.

Our main aim is to ensure your child is having fun and enjoying themselves in a secure and safe environment.

There will always be an element of learning in all activities provided; however fun and play are key elements that run throughout.

We are able to care for all ages and abilities with a wide range of experience.
We meet all aspects of National Frameworks, with varied activities and outings.
We are currently working towards Bury’s Quality Assurance scheme of which the bronze level has been achieved.

All diets are catered for with the majority of snacks and meals being healthy and freshly prepared, largely using organic products.
We provide flexible care and hours are to be agreed with each parent.
Bank holiday and weekend care is also a possibility.
Before and after school care with drop off and collection is available if possible.

Due to our location we have excellent surroundings, we are not directly on a main road.
Being situated on the lane to Nuttall Park we have the advantage of numerous walks away from all roads.
However we are still fully and easily accessible by car and are surrounded by good transport links.

There is public liability insurance and car insurance in place and my property has been checked by local fire safety officers and smoke alarms have been installed by them.

As we are a registered childcare provider parents are eligible to claim through schemes such as tax credits. We are also working towards becoming accredited proving an excellent standard of care is offered and have successfully completed the bronze level of this award.
